Canada's first Siemens MAGNETOM Vida 3T MRI

Our professional team did not let the snowy weather in Calgary slow down the installation of the brand-new Siemens MAGNETOM Vida 3T MRI at Alberta Children’s Hospital. This is the first of this system to be installed in Canada and Siaron were excited to accept the challenge of working on a completely new and unfamiliar MRI.
The MAGNETOM Vida is at the cutting edge of MRI technology. By using the BioMatrix interfaces, the patient can be positioned automatically at the touch of a button. This feature saves valuable time and has the potential to improve scanning speed by 30%. It’s EcoPower technology also allows to save energy by shutting off the cold head while on standby. Overall, a ground breaking system.
